May I ask how the acceptance probability shall be calculated if I have more than two dimensions? For an instance, if I have four states, is the following reasoning correct for e.g. i = 1, p(xi,xj) = p(x1,x0)*p(x1,x2)*p(x1,x3)? And by taking the log-probability I can sum instead of multiplying? Like for linear regression if I want to estimate the posterior of noise variance which is generally endowed with inverse gamma prior… It will be very helpful if you can enlighten me regarding this… Thanks in advance…
